MILENIALPOS.com – Band pop-punk Sum 41 bermain untuk terakhir kalinya di tur perpisahan mereka bertajuk “Tour Of The Setting Sum” yang digelar di Toronto pada Kamis, 30 Januari 2025 lalu.
Band pop-punk ini mengumumkan pada akhir tahun 2023 bahwa mereka akan bubar setelah merilis satu album terakhir dan tur dunia perpisahan, yang diberi nama “Tour Of The Setting Sum”.
Pertunjukan tersebut akhirnya mencapai puncak pada bulan Januari lalu dengan 13 pertunjukan di negara asal mereka, Kanada.
Pertunjukan terakhir yang digelar di Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, tersebut Sum 41 membawakan 29 lagu yang mencakup seluruh rentang karir mereka, serta cuplikan dari dua lagu metal klasik dalam bentuk “Raining Blood” milik Slayer dan “Master Of Puppets” milik Metallica.
Whibley dan kawan-kawan tampil untuk dua kali encore. Encore pertama diakhiri dengan lagu “In Too Deep” dan yang kedua mengakhiri malam dengan “So Long Goodbye” dan penutup pertunjukan “Welcome to Hell”.
Sementara pertunjukan di Toronto menandai konser terakhir Sum 41, band ini akan masuk ke Canadian Music Hall of Fame di Juno Awards di Vancouver pada tanggal 30 Maret 2025.
